The 29th and 9th Foundation, a newly established youth development organization founded in 2024 by former University of Louisville and professional football player Bilal Powell, is excited to announce its upcoming Total Wellness Camp at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center on August 3rd. This free camp is tailored for children aged 9-14 and aims to promote physical fitness and mental awareness.
The Total Wellness Camp will feature a dynamic program combining football drills and mentoring to enhance participants' physical abilities while fostering an understanding of mental health principles. A key highlight of the event will be a panel discussion where experts will provide valuable insights into maintaining overall wellness.
In addition to the engaging activities and educational sessions, attendees will receive complimentary camp t-shirts, enjoy lunch provided by Chick-Fil-A, and receive backpacks filled with essential school supplies. These provisions ensure that all participants are well-equipped for a successful start to the upcoming school year.
"We are thrilled to bring our Total Wellness Camp to the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center," said Bilal Powell, Founder of the 29th and 9th Foundation. "Our mission is to empower young people through sports and education, and this event embodies our commitment to promoting both physical and mental well-being."
