Louisville, Ky. (February 26, 2025) – The ASM Global-managed Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center is proud to host two NCAA Division 1 collegiate track and field championships in Louisville this weekend, marking a significant milestone for both the city and the venue. The ASUN Indoor Track and Field Championship, hosted by Bellarmine University, will take place Thursday, February 27 and Friday, February 28, 2025. Following this event, the University of Louisville will host the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships from Saturday, March 1 through Monday, March 3, 2025.
 
Greg Fante, President & CEO of the Louisville Sports Commission, reflected on the significance of these events, saying, “Hosting two Division I conference championships at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center exemplifies the vision for which this facility was built. The back-to-back ASUN and ACC indoor track and field championships this weekend reflect the facility’s visionary purpose.” This milestone events highlight how the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center has become a premier venue for elite-level athletic competition.
 
"The ASUN had multiple championship site options for indoor track and field, and bringing this event to Louisville, in partnership with Bellarmine University, will provide a great student-athlete experience, said ASUN Commissioner Ted Gumbart had previously stated. “Louisville is a great sports city, Bellarmine is a proven high-quality host, and the facility will have all the attributes for us to run an outstanding meet. We look forward to the track providing a venue where we will see many new ASUN records set."
 
The excitement is equally palpable for the ACC, with Commissioner Jim Phillips, Ph.D., eagerly anticipating the return to Louisville. “It will be terrific to be back in Louisville for the 2025 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships and we appreciate the entire city and the University of Louisville for hosting this important event,” said Phillips. “The Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center was an outstanding host for the 2023 event, and we know they will provide an outstanding experience for our student-athletes, coaches, and teams.”
