Louisville, Ky. (July 6, 2022) - The Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center in Louisville, Ky. is hosting a USA Track & Field (USATF) Watch Party on Saturday, July 16, 2022 and the community is invited to attend this FREE event. For the first time on U.S. soil, USATF athletes will take on the rest of the world at the World Athletics Track and Field Championships and the Louisville community is invited to be part of the action at a local watch party in Louisville.
This unique track & field guest experience, presented by USATF, allows guests to cheer on the world's top track & field athletes competing in the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon from the large screen event viewing area at the Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center. Attendees can also enjoy other onsite games and activities, a DJ, giveaways, complimentary food and drinks and more. The full evening of fun is not only appealing to the track community, local families are encouraged to attend.
Event Schedule:
7:00 PM: Doors open
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Guests can enjoy photo activations, games, giveaways and more while the DJ gets the party ready.
7:50 PM - 8:00 PM: 10 min countdown to broadcast begins – overview of the schedule, highlight athletes competing.
8:00 PM - 11:00 PM: World Championships LIVE*
*Guests can continue mingling, eating, participating in activities and photo ops. The DJ and special guest Team USATF athletes will do trivia, contests, and other fun competitions during commercial breaks. Plus the event will have LIVE look-ins from the NBC broadcast.
