The Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center is set to host one of the most anticipated NCAA indoor meets of 2025 this weekend as the University of Kentucky brings the 30th annual >Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational to Louisville January 10-11, 2025.
The Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational has grown into one of the premier NCAA track and field meets in the country, and much of that success can be attributed to its move to Louisville. "One of the best decisions we have made over the past few years was to move the Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational to Louisville, Rod’s hometown," University of Kentucky Head Coach Lonnie Greene said. "Doing this has given us the opportunity to bring regional and national track and field talent to the city as we compete in remembrance of all Rod embodied as a student-athlete and as a human being."
Since relocating to the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in 2024, the event has flourished, drawing an increasingly competitive field of athletes from across the nation. The meet’s growth is a testament to the incredible talent it attracts and the lasting legacy of Rod McCravy, a Kentucky native whose impact on the sport and his community remains profound. Each year, the competition continues to raise the bar, with top-tier teams and athletes vying for victory in a premier facility that honors McCravy’s memory and contributions to the sport.
This year’s 30th annual invitational, taking place on January 10-11, 2025, will feature an exciting roster of teams, including Kentucky, Louisville, Akron, Alabama State, Bellarmine, Butler, Central Florida, Cincinnati, Clayton State, Cumberlands, Georgia Southern, Howard, Louisiana Tech, Purdue, Miami (OH), Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Western Kentucky.
Admission to the meet is free, and parking at the facility is just $5 per car. A full schedule of upcoming indoor track meets at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center is listed below.
